CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy

A gentle, light touch healing modality that engages the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Our CranioSacral Therapists aid the client in finding more optimal health, alignment and balance by utilizing the body's inner wisdom to guide the release of tension and stressors throughout the muscles, tissues, bones and nervous system.  Based on anatomical principles and leaning on energetic awareness, CST helps to facilitate and enhance the body's natural capacity to heal.

CranioSacral Therapy: Its Healing Power

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, whole-body treatment that releases restrictions within the CranioSacral system and surrounding tissues to improve overall wellness and vitality. Through non-invasive, hands-on work, CranioSacral Therapy utilizes and enhances your body’s own self-corrective mechanisms to support your body’s innate ability to heal.  It is very effective as a stand-alone therapy as well as complementary to almost all other therapeutic modalities.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) can help augment our resistance to dis-ease by mobilizing the Central Nervous System (CNS) and enhancing its functioning. CST also assists in the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) regulation, helping to deactivate the Sympathetic “fight, flight or freeze” state. This has a trickle-down effect on all other systems in the body and can strengthen your ability to heal from a wide range of issues associated with dysfunction or pain.

We recommend scheduling two follow up appointments shortly after the inital CST session especially if there is an active issue. Spacing inital CST sessions closer together allows for more accurate feedback and faster progress as well as clarity on the effectiveness of the modality for each individual.
